Thank you for choosing G&S Co. Our mission is to create, design, and retail high quality, handcrafted and antique jewelry. We take pride in our inventory and guarantee its quality. Components, findings and gemstones may require attention over time. In the unlikely event that your jewelry breaks due to a manufacturing defect or an error in our workmanship, we will repair the piece at no charge. Whenever possible, we offer complimentary ring sizing (up to three sizes) on rings purchased from G&S Co. We offer free lifetime cleaning and inspection of all jewelry purchased from us. We will gladly advise you with any preventative care and maintenance. We do not take responsibilitiy for damages due to wear, neglect, or accidents. We highly recommend you insure your jewelry through Jeweler's Mutual Insurance Co. or a similar insurance provider.

 

Unless otherwise stated, all gemstones in antique and estate jewelry pieces are evaluated in their mountings to the maximum extent that the mounting permits examination. Approximate carat weights are formulated by taking measurements and applying industry standard formulas. Because mountings prohibit full and accurate observation of gem quality and weight, all data pertaining to mounted gems can be considered approximate unless accompanied by an independent laboratory certificate. Laboratory gemological certificates are provided on some items, particularly those with larger diamonds and gemstones. We can coordinate with an independent appraiser or a gemological laboratory when requested. Unless otherwise stated, all colored gemstones and pearls are assumed to be subject to color, clarity, or stability enhancement. Authenticity, age, and decorative periods are determined to the best of our ability based on materials, manufacturing methods, design motifs, and hallmarks. Be advised, dating and period styles are not an exact science due to frequent overlaps in decorative periods. 

 

We accept most major credit cards. Your billing address is required for us to process your credit card. Purchases can be made online or over the phone. We use PayPal for safe and secure online transactions. If you do not wish to use PayPal, you may contact us over the phone at 860-536-2663 to setup an alternative method of payment. When you call please have ready the item number or description available.

6.35% sales tax is added on items shipped to Connecticut. Please call or email to make arrangements for special requirements and international purchases. 

 

We offer free shipping via the USPS for all items shipped in the contiguous US. Packages are insured for the full retail value of the item. Items will be shipped 1-3 days after purchase. Purchases made on Friday thru Sunday will be shipped out on the following Monday. We will only ship items to the billing address associated with the credit card used to make the purchase. 

 

In the event you are unhappy with your purchase, you have 3 days to contact us in order to return your item. All sales are final after 3 days. You must contact us immediately once you receive your package to notify us of any problem regarding the condition of the piece. If you have not contacted us upon receiving the item we will assume that any damage thereafter was caused by you. All sales are final on items that have been worn or altered (this includes complimentary ring sizings). All sales are final on items that have been discounted.

 

You have 5 days from the time your package arrives to return your item. All returned items must be in the same condition and original packaging as you received it. No jewelry will be accepted for return if it is damaged, altered or worn. Please contact us at 860-536-2663 to arrange for your return. You must ship the package back to us registered insured through the USPS, fully insured for the retail value, and pack the items safely and securely. Once the item is received by us, we will check the condition of the item and issue a refund. If you have any questions regarding these procedures please contact us.
