This sizable and alluring vintage statement / engagement ring features a showy blue sapphire cabochon cradled by diamonds and platinum. The sapphire exhibits a light asterism, or star effect. The photographs cannot do this ring or the sapphire justice, it's so much prettier in person! Although this ring hails from the late Art Deco / Retro era, is does have a very elegant design inspired by the Edwardian period. Sapphire is the birthstone for September and the gem of the 5th and 45th anniversaries.

Details- the ring face measures 14.5 x 13 mm, it sits 9.15 mm off of the finger, the ring measures 6.25 mm at the shoulder and tapers down to 1.45 mm at the base of the shank
Condition- good vintage condition, some inclusions are visible on the sapphire's surface
