A Victorian pendant/brooch and earring suite made from carved sardonyx, natural pearls, and 14 karat gold. The pendant/brooch depicts Queen Zenobia, a 3rd century Queen of the Palmyrene Empire in Syria who led a famous revolt against the Roman Empire. She is often referred to as the "Warrior Queen".

    Gemstones- three high relief carved sardonyx stones, the smaller stones measure 10.7 x 7.75 mm, the largest measures 25 x 18 mm
    Pearls- two at 4mm and four at 3.5 mm, set in buttercup gypsy settings
    Pendant- 2x1.3x.65 inches with bail, the frame is high polish with engraving, scrolls, gold rope, and milgrain, claw prong setting
    Earrings- 1.6x.67x.32 inches, kidney ear wires
    Details- the pendant has a hidden flip-up bail, the brooch has a very sturdy pin with a roll-over safety catch
    Condition- good antique condition, one sardonyx earring has a fine hairline fracture (not noticeable with the naked eye)
